At the Wirtschaftsbeirat Bayern event on 15 October 2025 at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof, 26-year-old entrepreneur Suriyaa Sundararuban met State Minister Hubert Aiwanger. Together with high-profile business leaders and young entrepreneurs in attendance, and together with stakeholders from academia, press, and policy, the discussion centered on shaping Bavaria's economic future.

The conversation focused on giving and receiving feedback and support from the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development, and Energy (StMWi), understanding both current and future challenges for Bavaria's economy. Key themes included innovation and technology transfer, clear and predictable regulatory frameworks, Mittelstand competitiveness, and international positioning and market access.
